Accuracy earns trust
We cite our sources. Every historical build ships with a reference pack naming the garments, portraits and pattern books behind it.
About the atelier
MythenCraft is a bespoke costume atelier of cutters, corsetières, dyers and armourers. We have costumed 240 productions since 2008, and we still fit every garment on the body it was made for.

Our story
We began by making the parts nobody else wanted to make: corsets, bum rolls, padded understructure — the invisible engineering that gives a period silhouette its shape. That grounding still defines the atelier. We build from the inside out.
Today the team covers pattern cutting, tailoring, embroidery, millinery, dyeing, sculpted armour and breakdown. We work directly with costume designers, production designers and performers, and we are equally comfortable executing another designer's drawing or developing a character's look from the script.
What we hold to
We cite our sources. Every historical build ships with a reference pack naming the garments, portraits and pattern books behind it.
A costume that can't be moved, breathed or fought in has failed. Movement fittings are non-negotiable in our process.
Cutting, structure, embroidery and finishing stay in our own workroom, so quality checks happen at the bench rather than at delivery.
Generous seam allowances, documented patterns and retained offcuts mean a garment can be altered or restored years later.
