This Refund Policy applies to all bespoke costume commissions produced by MythenCraft, registered at [Registered Address], [Jurisdiction]. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. Bespoke goods

Costumes made to your measurements and specification are bespoke goods. Under the consumer law of [Jurisdiction], the standard right to cancel distance purchases generally does not apply to made-to-measure items once production has begun. Your statutory rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed goods are unaffected.

2. Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable once pattern work, material purchasing or workroom time has been committed. If you cancel within [7] days of paying the deposit and before any materials are ordered or cutting has begun, we will refund the deposit less an administration fee of [amount / percentage].

3. Cancellation after work has started

On cancellation we invoice for materials already purchased and hours already worked at our standard workroom rate of [rate]. Any balance held above that amount is refunded within [14] days. Partially completed garments, patterns and toiles remain our property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4. Faulty workmanship

We guarantee our construction for [12] months from delivery under normal use. If a garment fails because of a fault in our workmanship, we will at our discretion repair it, remake the affected element, or refund the value attributable to it. Report faults to info@crestia.store with photographs within [14] days of discovery.

5. Fit issues

Fit is confirmed at the final fitting or, for remote commissions, through the approved toile and photographs. Adjustments needed because of our error are made free of charge. Adjustments needed because of changes in the wearer's measurements, casting changes or late design changes are chargeable.

6. What is not refundable

  • Colour or texture variation inherent to hand-dyed and natural materials.
  • Deliberate ageing, distressing or breakdown carried out to an approved brief.
  • Damage from stage effects, improper cleaning, storage or third-party alteration.
  • Change of artistic direction after a design has been signed off.
  • Research, consultation and pattern-development fees once delivered.

7. Returns and shipping

Do not return a garment before contacting us. Where a return is agreed, we will provide instructions and, for faults attributable to us, cover reasonable return shipping. Garments must be returned in the condition received, suitably packed and insured for their declared value.

8. How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within [14] days of agreement, via [Payment Processor]. Bank processing times may add several working days. Currency conversion and transfer fees are not refundable.

9. Disputes

If we cannot agree an outcome, the matter is handled under the dispute provisions of our Terms of Service and the law of [Jurisdiction]. Consumers may also have access to alternative dispute resolution through [ADR Body].

10. Contact
